Today was my last day of observing and I am so upset. I am really going to miss the 7th and 8th graders that I observed. Although I didn't have all that much interaction with them, they definitely brightened up my days when I was there. I will also miss the teachers that I observed. Each one taught me something different of how to be a teacher. The youngest teacher he focused on the use of technology in the classroom. Since we are close in age, it was very useful to see how a young teacher just out of college, provides students with different ways of learning. The most experienced teachers incorporated technology as well but sometimes had a little difficulty using the equipment. However, the students were there to help the teach and offer guidance and assistance. They were extremely knowledgeable about their topics and were alwaays willing to offer extra help to struggling students. I can only hope that I am a successful teacher like these three teachers are.
